Kerrville, TX

Kerrville is about 60 miles Northwest of San Antonio. It was pretty much a standard camping night except for all the deer. There were about 9 deer hanging around the camp for a while.
In the Morning I stopped at a Pennzoil place to get an oil change. After the oil change was done I couldn’t start the car. The guys at the shop tried a couple things and couldn’t get it going so I had to call AAA and have it towed to an actual garage. The guys at the garage said the fuel pump died and they would try to replace it by COB tonight (friday), if not they won’t be able to get it done till Monday. So it looks like I’ll be stuck in Kerrville, TX for a while.
Riverwalk, San Antonio, TX

This place is like the Venice of the west. Very cool. It’s almost all restaurants, bars, and hotels along the river. I walked around for a bit, then stopped at a bar along the water for a couple beers. If ever in San Antonio again this will be my drinking spot of choice
The Alamo

The Alamo is a really cool place. It’s surprisingly right in the middle of downtown San Antonio. I would have guessed that it was somehow separated from the rest of the city.
After painfully searching for parking in the downtown area I wondering into the remnants of the Alamo. Some portions of it were intact and in place. Other portions where either moved to create a different layout or were completely destroyed. They had mini museums in each structure you can walk through. I took a bunch of pictures.
